7th Cranberry County Triathlon

Lakeville, MA

Many members of the TriBrown competed on the Cranberry County Triathlon. We had the privilege to have Alumni and TriBrown founder, Mitchell Wolf, to race with us. Mitchell reached his goal of breaking the 3:00:00 by a comfortable margin of 1:02 minutes.

As you will see below, all Brown Athletes had an outstanding race at this incredible olympic-distance event.

Rhode Island 70.3

Providence, RI

Mike, Liz, Dave, and Cory nailed the course of the inaugural Rhode Island Ironman 70.3. The running course was challenging and included college hill at each of the two loops. The weather was perfect and many TriBrown members volunteered at the finish line in front of the State House.

Website overhaul…

Filed under: Website News — Administrator @ 4:21 am

This site was put up a little over a year ago with all the best intentions, but it seems that the only features that anyone made use of were the mailing list and the web gallery (and pretty limited use, at that). All of that will change shortly, I hope. In the meantime, pardon our dust while we attempt to resurrect a functioning website…

Brazil and Beyond

Filed under: Upcoming Races, Races — kevin @ 8:28 am

A rumor has been circulating that some club members are planning on tackling Ironman: Brazil. Comments?

I’d like to see us target several local races for the comming season, so as to provide targets for our training efforts.
A good place to find local multisport races is trifind.com.
What looks good?

Let’s get it on!

Welcome to the new, WordPress-based tribrown.org site.
Please, poke around and send Dan or Kevin feedback. We want to make this a useful resource for the club.

Also, note the “Photo Gallery” link in the column on the right.
You can register & upload photos of all the lycra-clad tribrown crew.
I am currently investigating how to integrate Gallery2 into WordPress. In the meantime, you can use This Link as well.
(Note that registration for the main blog engine is currently separate from that for the Gallery2 installation).

I would like to have a calendar mechanism for us to coordinate workouts, and there is a publicly-accessible web-based calendar widget hosted here.

More to follow, as I build up the site..
